Hyderabad, April 26, 2024: The unveiling of BJP MP candidate Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy’s Chevella Sankalp Patra today marks the culmination of his ideals and his commitment towards the constituents of Chevella. This manifesto, born out of his extensive 3700 km long Praja Ashirwada Yatra and conversations with the citizens of Chevella, was launched at the Aziz Nagar BJP party office in the presence of prominent BJP leaders. This constituency specific unique manifestohas been prepared through extensive grassroots discussions with constituents, showcasing KVR’s deep connection with the area, its people, and his comprehensive understanding of their challenges. For three generations, he has maintained a strong connection with this constituency, by actively engaging in community initiatives for the past two decades.
Chevella Sankalp Patra reflects the collective interests, needs, and aspirations of every section of Chevella. His vision for Chevella revolves around improving education, bolstering agriculture, promoting employment, enhancing infrastructure, and advancing social welfare. The vision of Viksit Chevella is an extension of PM Modi’s vision for ‘Viksit Bharat’. A cornerstone pledge in the manifesto is the vision for ‘Vibrant Villages’, aiming to rejuvenate 900 villages within the constituency. This transformation will entail the creation of local employment opportunities, the effective implementation of both state and central government schemes, improved infrastructure, enhanced educational facilities, and strengthened self-governance mechanisms. Additionally, the development and promotion of rural tourism hubs across Parigi, Vikarabad, Chevella, Kandukur, and Tandur exemplify Konda Vishweshwar Reddy’s dedication to the welfare and prosperity of the people of Chevella.
Speaking on the occasion Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said, BJP released its manifesto on the birth anniversary of Shri BR Ambedkar, as it’s an auspicious day for us, because the principles and ideologies of BJP are aligned with that of Shri Ambedkar. Modi and BJP are following the path shown by Shri Ambedkar. I am committed to follow that revered path and I am releasing my manifesto, ‘Chevella Sankalpa Patram’ based on these principles and ideologies. Chevella Parliament is the most diverse constituency in India, there is the most modern infrastructure on one side here and on another side there is backwardness and poverty in rural areas. In one part we have most educated professionals and on another side we have farmers, illiterate etc. The voter base of 29 lakhs represents people from different parts of India, speaking different languages. We kept these diverse aspects in mind while drafting this Chevella Sankalpa Patram.
In the past during my tenure as MP, though I belonged to the opposition TRS, I took up developmental initiatives worth Rs 200 crores, in every village, by getting the funds directly transferred to the sarpanches for these initiatives. This time, being a BJP MP collaborating with the BJP-led Central Government offers a significant advantage. It facilitates easier access to substantial funds for driving growth and development initiatives. I am dedicated to actively securing developmental funds and executing various schemes that will directly benefit the constituents of Chevella. Furthermore, as an MP, I will have access to MPLADS funds amounting to Rs 5 crores annually, which will be allocated towards the comprehensive development of Chevella. In addition, through the Konda Madhava Reddy Foundation established in memory of my father, I have initiated numerous impactful programs benefiting the community. These include developing tourism infrastructure, transforming Chevella into a bustling tourism hub, which generates jobs for locals. Furthermore, I have spearheaded initiatives to ensure clean and accessible toilets in schools, particularly focusing on enabling girl students to attend school regularly without hindrance.
There are various pressing issues within the constituency, and I am committed to diligently addressing them by seeking viable solutions and ensuring their effective implementation. My primary focus will be on enhancing education and healthcare facilities within Chevella. In states governed by the BJP, notable improvements in infrastructure within these sectors have been witnessed, even the well-off sections of society avail these facilities there. I am dedicated to replicating these successes in Chevella for the betterment of all constituents. I will strive to establish Basti Dawakanas and secure additional funds to enhance the development of primary healthcare centres within Chevella. I will work on setting up Community Schools like in USA, where the local community will run those schools with support from the Government. This is the model successfully implemented by Goa BJP government. Addressing the challenge of irrigation water scarcity, particularly in highland areas of Chevella, is crucial. With the support of central government funds, I will facilitate bringing water directly from Jurala to Vikarabad, Parigi, and Tandur, thus significantly improving irrigation prospects. I will work towards establishing food processing infrastructure to support local farmers, thereby adding value to their produce. Additionally, I will actively promote the growth of SMEs in Chevella, aiming to create employment opportunities for the local population. We will get loans for the people at low interest rates. Will facilitate Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana here and ensure at least 15 lakh homes for poor in Telangana and at least 1 lakh homes for Chevella parliamentary constituency. I am committed to ensuring that every resident of Chevella is enrolled in the Central Government’s Ayushman Bharat scheme, providing them with access to medical treatment coverage worth Rs 5 lakh. I will advocate strongly with the state government to implement the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojana, ensuring that farmers in Chevella benefit from this agricultural insurance scheme. Will facilitate setting up non-polluting, knowledge industries to develop this region and make it a sustainable development zone. I will actively pursue the extension of MMTS services till Vikarabad, advocating for 50% funding from the Central government to support this project. Additionally, I will focus on enhancing connectivity to Tandur, facilitating better transportation options for the residents of both areas. I have established a dedicated helpline to assist and address the various challenges faced by the people of Chevella, ensuring prompt and effective support when needed.
