VIT donates Rs.1.57 Crore to AP CM Relief Fund and Rs. 1.50 Crore to Telangana CM relief fund for flood relief measures

Hyderabad, Telangana September 8: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has donated Rs.1.57 crore to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Rs.1.50 Crore to Telangana Chief Minister’s relief fund for the flood relief measures being taken up by the State Governments after recent rain and flood that affected several parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. VIT Founder and Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan handed over the demand draft for Rs.1.57 Crore to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada on Friday (September 6, 2024) and also handed over the demand draft of Rs.1.50 Crore to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. Revanth Reddy at Hyderabad on Saturday (September 7, 2024). VIT Vice-President Mr. Sankar Viswanathan accompanied Dr. G. Viswanathan.
