Hyderabad, November 14th, 2023: The three day cosmic Yajnam ‘Nava Durga Yagam‘ being performed at the revered Ratnalayam Sri Venkateswara Swamitemple, Shameerpet, from 13th to 15th of October 2023; witnessed three Yagams of Kushmanda Yagam, Skandamatha Yagam and Kathyayani Yagam, on the day two, today.
Large number of devotees from across Telangana participated in the Yagam rituals and sought the blessings of Nava Durga, ahead of the sacred Navaratri festivities observed in honour of goddess Durga. The day witnessed the benign presence of Sri Sri Vidya Shankara ji Bharathi Swamiji of Pushapagiri Peetam, Kadapa, Sri Sri Paramartha Nanda Swamiji, Malayalla Swamy, Laxmi Narayana Ashramam and Brahmasri Dr SK Narayanan Swamiji, Founder and Chairman of Sanatana Dharma Foundation, New Delhi. The Yagam was also graced by Smt Komatireddy Lakshmi Rajagopal Reddy.
The last day of the Nava Durga Yagam to be held tomorrow, 15th October 2023, will witness three Yagams of Kalarathri Yagam, Maha Gouri Yagam and the Maha Siddhitha Yagam. Over 1008 women devotees are expected to participate in the ‘Ekatma Sahasra Sahasrarchana as part of Poornahuti, tomorrow.
The Nava Durga Yagam will be graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan,on the last day tomorrow, she will participate in the Kumkumarchana and the Poornahuthi.
