COVID-19 DISASTER RELIEF AMERICAN TELUGU ASSOCIATION DISTRIBUTES OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS

ATA IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP OUR MOTHERLAND IN CRISIS. 

The whole world is coming forward to support India, which is being overwhelmed by the corona second wave. The American Telugu Association, which is always ready to do its part to help the motherland in the fight against the corona, is standing by. The American Telugu Association is already providing huge assistance to India. And the Indians in America are also helping the motherland that is fighting against the corona. As part of this, the Ata members there came up with various programs to help India during the Corona crisis. The Telugu Association of America has set up Covid-19 Disaster Help Services.

ATA President Bhuvanesh Bujjala, ATA Board of Trustees and ATA Covid Disaster Relief Help Service Chair Anil Boddireddy were the first to send Oxygen Concentrators from the US to India. In the second wave corona patients have severe problems with falling oxygen levels. Doctors say the virus is affecting the lungs, causing oxygen levels to drop. Oxygen consumption varies from person to person depending on the severity of the disease. In view of this, the American Telugu Association has brought about 600 oxygen concentrators to India to meet the oxygen shortage.

Covid Disaster Help Services was launched under the auspices of American Telugu Association President Bhuvanesh Bujjala, ATA President Elect Madhu Bommineni, Joint Secretary Ramakrishnareddy Ala, Board of Trustees Anil Bodhireddy and BOT Sudhir Bandari. They arranged to send to all district centers in both Telugu states. Oxygen concentrators will be distributed from Hyderabad to Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Bansiwada, Adilabad and Narayanpet. ATA INDIA Coordinators Karakala Krishna Reddy, Lohit Kumar, Srinivas Bandaru, Venkateswara Rao and Naveen District Collectors will be present at the District Health Centers in collaboration with the American Telugu Association India Team.
